★ Age Categories
The competition is divided into two categories:
Category A: Applicants born between July 1, 1998 - June 30, 2004
Category B: Applicants born between July 1, 1992 - June 30, 1998 
★ Application
Applications can be made from now until March 20, 2017. 
After the deadline, no further applications are possible.
The competition is divided into Preliminary round, Semi-final and Final.

* The following documents must be sent with the registration form to the organizer *
1. A copy (a scan) of a birth certificate or passport.
2. Proof of a payment of the application fee of NT$1000.After 1st of April 2017 the result of the preliminary judging will be published online.Successful applicants have to make a payment of the application fee of NT$2000.
    The money transfer must be completed before 1st of May 2017.
    The application fee cannot be returned.

★ Repertoire Requirements

General Conditions
The whole repertoire must be played by memory. Participants are allowed to play pieces from their preliminary repertoire in the competition.
The performance duration in the Semi-Final should be approx. 12 minutes, and in Final should be approx. 30 minutes. Regarding the repertoire of free choice: The Jury reserves the right to choose a single movement of a piece.
"Preliminary round"
Please provide a DVD or Youtube links including:
    (1) A prelude and fugue by J. S. Bach
    (2) One fast movement from a classical sonata by Haydn, Mozart, Beethoven.  (Excluding Schubert)
  The repertoire in the Semi-Final should include:
    (1) One Chopin Etude of your free choice.
    (2) One work from the Romantic period. (Excluding Beethoven Late Piano Sonatas)
The repertoire in the Final stage should include:
(1) Three completed pieces from three different periods. The competitor should provide the performance time of each piece in advance. (If    
   there is a sonata, please provide the duration of each movement), and all pieces played in competition must be solo piano works.
   No appeal shall be possible against decisions by the Jury or by the Competition Directors. 
 ★ Members of the Jury
The jury for the Preliminary, Semi-final and Final rounds is composed of members selected from among the most eminent, internationally renowed figures on the music scene. They include: Boris Slutsky (US), Ellen Mack (US) , Lena Ching (Singapore), Eun-Jung Shon (Korea). 

A competitor may only alter his/her program for any stage of the Competition by informing the Competition Secretary of the change by May 10, 2017.

Category A:
       First prize: NT $ 50,000
  Second prize: NT $ 30,000
      Third prize: NT $ 20,000
Category B:
           First prize: The winner of first prize in Category B will be invited to give a concert in FAZIOLI Concert Hall in Italy. The round-way flight tickets and the three days two nights accommodation will be sponsored by FAZIOLI.Taiwan
      Second prize: NT $ 30,000
          Third prize: NT $ 20,000
